Surrealism is a movement to let your unconscious inner voice express itself. It followed the subversives mouvements of Dadaism and Cubism. During this workshop, we will study surrealist painters, especially Magritte. The students will have to work in small groups and follow their imaginations to create a surrealist photo. As we will learn photography techniques, framing and editing etc. it will be the occasion to talk about distorted images, which is a major societal problem nowadays, especially for young people. The students photos will be assessed during the exhibition thanks to a form.
